Ammodago was founded in 1995 as a public speaking course by Jim Harvey, together with David Goh. The program was designed to help individuals communicate with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
David Goh later introduced Ammodago to Malaysia, where it was warmly received by the corporate sector and leading organizations. Its practical, results-driven approach quickly established Ammodago as a trusted communication and leadership development program.
In 2015, Christopher Pitchaimuthu, then a engineer, who was also actively involve in training attended the Ammodago Workshop. The experience had a profound impact on him, both personally and professionally—shaping his confidence, sharpening his communication skills, and deepening his understanding of purposeful leadership.
Recognizing the strong values and transformative power of the Ammodago methodology, Christopher felt a deep sense of responsibility to continue and grow the legacy of the program. In 2017, he humbly took over Ammodago International, committed to preserving its foundation while guiding it into its next phase of growth.
Under his stewardship, Ammodago International continues to evolve with renewed focus, expanding its reach while remaining faithful to its mission of adding value and transforming lives through effective communication.
Ammodago’s unique and practical approach to communication has taken the program across the globe. Over the years, Ammodago has been conducted in Asia, Europe, Russia, China, and India, impacting leaders, professionals, and organizations from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
The universality of the message and the effectiveness of the methodology have allowed Ammodago to transcend borders—proving that powerful communication is a global need.
OUR FOUNDER
Having failed in his LCE (Form Three) in 1969 David Goh started his life with a humble beginning, working as a laborer. By 1974 he was given an opportunity tobe a part time salesman which he did well and in 1977 he stood in front of an audience and spoke for the very first time, it was short, unimpressive but yet it was his beginning.
To expand his knowledge he started reading more motivational and self-help books. In 1982, he visited the motherland of motivation, USA and there he met many high-powered, eloquence speakers.
By 1990, David Goh was well-accepted in many parts of the world and was invited to share his knowledge and philosophies.
By 1995 together with his partner, Jim Harvey they started AMMODAGO INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP it was a straight-forward public speaking course but over the years David has added many new syllabus to the workshops and today it is known as Power Speaking Skills.
Today AMMODAGO INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP is well-accepted in many parts of the world, we have students from all over the world who have benefitted from this workshop.
Besides being the founder of this unique workshop he is also an author to 43 books and one that sold well over 4 million copies is; 52 ways to make more money in network marketing. Today he spends his time writing biographies for people around the world.
DIRECTOR
Christopher Pitchaimuthu is an accomplished Soft Skills and Leadership Trainer with over 25 years of experience in the service and training industry. His professional journey began as an engineer, but it was in the world of Customer Service and people development that he discovered his true calling. Christopher strongly believes that excellence is not just about performance—it is about how we serve, communicate, and bring out the best in others.
After a successful 25-year career in the service sector, he transitioned into full-time training and coaching, dedicating his life to empowering individuals and organizations. His approach is practical, engaging, and purpose-driven, built on real experience and a sincere desire to transform lives.
To date, Christopher has trained and inspired more than 20,000 individuals across Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Belgium, Singapore, Thailand, and India. His expertise spans leadership, communication, customer service, and personal development.
A passionate writer and thinker, Christopher has authored three impactful books, each rooted in his mission to uplift, strengthen, and guide the next generation of leaders.
Today, he is spearheading Ammodago International, where he continues to shape future champions through high-impact workshops, leadership programs, and transformational speaking experiences.
Christopher Pitchaimuthu began his career as an engineer in a leading multinational corporation, where he developed a strong foundation in systems thinking, problem-solving, and operational excellence. His passion for people development soon led him to the corporate leadership arena, where he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Prife International India. During his tenure, he successfully drove business expansion and organizational growth, inspiring teams to achieve excellence through purpose and vision.
Today, Christopher serves as the Director and Master Trainer of Ammodago International, a renowned Power Speaking Workshop originally founded by Malaysia’s Master Motivator, Dr. David Goh. Personally mentored and groomed by Dr. Goh, Christopher now carries forward Ammodago’s legacy—empowering individuals to communicate with confidence, lead with influence, and transform lives through the power of words.
